BIO / Charlotte von der Lancken
Charlotte von der Lancken graduated as MA Industrial designer from University College of Arts Crafts and Design (Konstfack) in 2004. Upon that she co-established Front Design, which she chooses to leave in 2015 to establish CVDLAB. Charlotte works as product designer specialized in material and with design as a conceptual tool. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked in an interdisciplinary group of researchers and designers at Bioeconomy, RISE. Today, CVDLAB works with industrial design and sustainbility - and material related topics . During the years Charlotte has received numerous prestigious awards and prizes such as the Torsten & Wanja Söderbergs Award, A&W Magazine Designer of the Year, Elle Deco International Design Award, Wallpaper Magazine Design Awards, The golden chair and Residence Magazine Designer of the Year. Her work has been included in the Collections of MoMA New York and San Francisco, M+ Hong Kong, Nationalmuseum, Röhsska Museet, Victoria & Albert and MUDAC.
